Cj looks on with wide eyes. “I care about things. I just don’t think it’s always useful to worry about them.”
Ash nervously slams his paperwork book shut. “O-Ok! I-I will go out one evening t-though I’Im ok I swear!!!”
CJ gestures to him and looks plain faced to him,speaking honestly. “You don’t have to try and impress me, you can do whatever you want for whatever reason you want. Are you sure you just don’t wanna see those friends and you’re using other stuff as an excuse?”
Ash interjects. “N-no! I really do gotta focus on saving up if i ever wanna have enough money to get out of town.”
Ash smirks. “And as i said, what is so bad about taking one night out every now and then? I think that if you wanted to be with your friends, you wouldn’t be venting about money or sucking up to Kevin.”
Ash starts to slump, looking told off. Cj continues. “You can admit that ya wanna be here for your own peace of mind or whatever. Just own it!” CJ looks on confidently whilst Ash looks defeated.
