Gosh it was a nice challenge redrawing this page (2021) in contrast to the 2019 version. I can remember I had a new tablet and just bought clip studio paint and had very little idea of what I was doing but had a lot of fun drawing the original page, so now two years later I’ve enjoyed a different challenge of changing the pacing around more than just tackling any art style improvement.

The view around the corner reveals the distant figure of a red head man in a teal jacket turning the corner at the far end of the store.
Darrell holds up his hands in terror as he shrieks: MANAGER INCOMING!
With CJ alerted and Ash already by his counter, Darrell full on sprint around the corner to return to the deli counter where he should be.
Darrell: GOTTA GET TO THE COUNTER!
The pleasantly grinning figure of Kevin cuts a sharp line towards the counters as Darrell races to put on his tie and appear presentable as he approaches.
Weary from his panicked guilt, he stands slightly out of breathe before a highly enthusiastic Kevin, who beams "GOOD EVENING, DARRELL" to him.
