Evening/night shifts had a vending machine of ready meals but nothing fresh where I worked; only during certain daylight hours.
I do not know if other supermarkets even had that but this is based on my experience, so you’d have to let me know ;D

Ash thinks to himself "That settles it: I'm just gonna go!" and sets off with determination down the aisle. He passes Flori and the customer and announces "I'm heading up now Flori! See you in a bit!" before Flori can even respond.
A selection of fruits, juices, hot drink options and cooked food is presented in the open canteen area as Ash enters. few people are sat at tables nearby, with newspapers scattered around. From the enclosed kitchen area in front of him, Ash stops in his tracks as he smells the hot breakfasts on the side being cooked by the canteen chef. "They have full English breakfasts here?!"
Ash bursts into a hunger filled ecstasy at the sight of hot breakfasts. "I didn't know they did cooked food! They never do anything for evening staff so I assumed..."
Ash's resolve is confirmed. "Ah Nevermind! I am getting my wallet!"
