There is something cold and practical about warehouse spaces. So full of people one minute then absolutely empty of life the next. Hmmm.

Ash and the male coworker walk upstairs towards the warehouse.
Coworker: How have you found the day shifts so far?
Ash: Gosh it’s been… different. Less boring at least.
The coworker opens the door for Ash, smiling wryly. "You don’t have to be polite ‘round me now we're off the shopfloor. You can say it was a bit shit earlier."
Ash nervously chuckles, turning a bit red at the swear.

Ash follows him through the warehouse, cages and stock boxes passing as they continue.
"erm ah well.. no no, it was more like, I, I didnt know what to do? So that was what sucked, not just the corwds and stuff."

The coworker leads the way. "Ah, I get it. I admit, it too caught me off guard when I started day shifts a while back too. I think I maybe prefer day shifts now..."

The scene pans upwards to show the warehouse, quiet for nothing but them and the stock cages littered about.
"But the quiet of the evening shifts? sigh..."

Ash catches up and asks "yeah... wait, did you do evening shifts too?"
The coworker scoffs, looking a little shocked. "Are you... serious?"
