Teenagers playing video games whoa what a novel concept

Thank you to people I talked to who have siblings to enlighten me how sibling dynamics can work for some people. BTW Ash has two older sibling, eldest is his brother with a wife and two children, middle is his sister. I didn’t give them names… sorry Ash. I know their entire family dyanamic in my head but i will never elaborate ever (it’s isn’t their story after all)

A flashback daydream of a younger teenage Ash slumped in a sofa playing video games. They looks visibly different but completely spaced out playing games. Current day Ash narrates: "I'm rather aware that I get so into them that i lose all track of time, and well, now there's no more school hours, messing around all the time doesn't feel as good..."
A smaller daydream of current day Ash apologising to his mother, who is off screen, for not doing the dishes as he plays games.
CJ asks "Are your parents pushing you to move out?"
Ash continues. "They haven't said that, and my family said they would keep trying to support each other, but, even so... my siblings are laser focused on their children or careers and I guess I don't wanna seem like I am not tryign to do something? I am the youngest and I tended to live up to my reputation as the immature one for the longest time."
Cj looks confused. "I never got that impression from you, mr "Follow the rules" guy. Do they expect you to be settled by now? jesus christ that's shitty."
Ash smiles nervously, scratching his head. "OH NO NO! I don't feel pressured to be like them, my parents are very clear about being myself, but... I just look up to them all so much!"
CJ frowns and throws up her hands. "They why are you making pressure for yourself?"
