I didn’t find my local craft group to be what I needed socially. Glad I tried going to a printmaking group to recover from years of social anxiety but I definitely wasn’t the target age and outside of the skill level. Oh well!

I’ll try again another year somewhere else, hopefully, probably, ummm

CJ wanders over to the self service cake section in the centre of the aisles nearby, She begins to pick up more discarded litter.
"Eh. alright? The morning class i went to was less about learning something and more just like, hanging out. Sharing crochet patterns and chat.
Ash chimes in. "that doesn't sound so bad, though. Getting to meet new people.
CJ begins picking more litter and scrunching them into balls in her hands. "Yeah, if you already have your own patterns and can already crochet, sure. Wasn't really a "class" at all. It was fine, they were nice, but it's a little hard to relate when you're half the average age of the group."
Ash mutters a sad little "Ah."
CJ continues. "As for the classes; I'm here."
Ash replies "You're here. Right. Aww. That sucks, that it didn't go well."
CJ clasps the rolled up litter and sighs. "Eeeeeh, I'll keep looking around."
