"By the time I'd manage to get there It'd be pretty late into the party, then, there's there cost of drinks on top of that, there the taxi cost back as well, and it's not even payday... OH!"
"That's right, I've got a shift tomorrow morning! It's too short notice!"
Cj cheerfully suggests "Why not just call in sick in the morning? That's what sick pay is for; Being sick!"
Ash gesturures firmly to Cj. "Y-you can get away with it on the evening shifts, but day shifts are waaaaay busier!"
CJ bluntly says "If you say so."
Ash daydreams about the consequences of being hungover being loud machinery and customers."I'd really let people down if I pulled a sickie. Plus I definitely don't wanna turn up to that in a state, either!"
Ash shrugs then sighs "And I have no change of clothes and it's just..."
