The overtime list eventually got merged into the general rotas where, like the page suggests, the manager would just write in people’s names without even asking them for whichever gaps they had.
And I suspect if you were anything like our section, it was always the same names every week… I wonder why…. 🤔
also I streamed most of the bottom panel on a discord channel and made everyone traumatised whilst sketching oops

[CJ talks over an image of Ash looking at a notice board filled with various sheets of paper, one of which is a sheet with proposed overtime time slots. Almost all of them have been pre-filled in to say either Ash or Damian, with one exception being for Darrell, whose names has been scribbled out in blue with "can't do" and Damian's name tentatively written in it's place.]
CJ: Suppose you can't really bail. I saw from the rotas that Kevin's got you roped into doing ALL of the overtime for the day shifts.
[Ash looks plainly at CJ as he continues to sort out the product tickets]
Ash: Well... he didn't make me- and it isn't ALL of them... I - I chose to.
CJ: It sounds verymuch like he just signed you up anyway. But it's alright. He tries that on everyone. You just took the bait.
[CJ's version of events unfolds, where a crazy eyed Kevin towers over a doe eyed Ash wielding a pen in one clawed hand and a bunch of overtime papers in his other.]
