Damian wants to say many things but he will not. He’s got a task to do instead.

Next page is Damian’s preparing part of the mackeral – if very mild blood and guts relating to fish prep is not your thing, no worries, these are character moments and there is nothing explicitly graphic. There’s no judgement if you wanna skip just to dialogue. These pages exist in Damian’s own quiet little world separate to what Tina and Alexis are doing.

I’ll retroactively put links to skip there but they will be the Tuesday updates until 1st March.

Tina’s hand grabs a whole mackerel from the fish counter before here, asking cheerfully "The usual?"
Male Elderly customer: Yes, love!

Damian looks at the fish as Tina walks past with his hand open in offer.
Damian: I can debone that for you, Tina. I’ve got the boards out already.
Tina: Ah! Cheers hon!
DAmian: Same as usual, huh?
Tina: There’s certainly something to be enjoyed in routine!

Damian looks upon the fish he’s ready to prepare.
Mmmmhmmm….
Damian thinks to himself: A mackerel, filleted, de boned, then four slices of bacon and half pound liver. Check.
