The scene pulls back to show that the deli counter is now clear of customers, as Ash loudly proclaims “BUT THAT WAS A LOT ALL AT ONCE!”
Toning down his voice, he continues “Cheers for the help, I really appreciate it!”
The coworker doesn’t look at Ash as he removes stock from the slicer area. “no worries.
you shouldn't have been left alone in the first place but oh well.”
Ash begins moving products also. “well - erm, Verity said she had to grab some stock?
I don’t know about anyone else.”
They both start to put products back on the counter, with the taller coworker casually placing goods on the bottom shelf whilst Ash, being shorter, struggles to reach over the reach the bottom.
“Oh, ok. Thought maybe she bailed and went to lunch or something. She’s probably stuck knee deep in cages.”
“o-oh, right.” Ash continues to struggle to reach.
“uh, let me-” The co worker takes the ham from Ash, leaving an embarrassed ash to throw his face into his hands and groan.
