The other side of the counter, Verity comes almost exploding into the panel, with boxes flying everywhere.
“HEY!!! I’M HEEERE! I’M HERE!”
She almost throws an armfull of boxes at Ash, as they both yell SORRY at each other.
Another new co worker is following her, saying “We’re both here!” as she pulls a cage into the counter full of stock. A slim, black woman in her sixties with greyed black afro hair pulled into a tight afro ponytail.

Verity enthusiastically slams stock boxes onto the side and looks to the shopfloor expectedly.
“Sorry to keep you waiting! “
There are no customers and she’s left eagerly standing there.
“Hey! Where did everyone go?!”

The tall male coworker finger guns to Verity and states “A million tannoys later and now you’ve returned after all of the customers have gone.”

Verity relaxes. “aaah that’s so typical! Half term always causes an upset in the shops but still, that lunchtime hit hard! Made me feel more frazzled than I already am today! Ha ha!”
